The Memoirs of Jerry Clinton

By Jerry Clinton with Rob Raines; Foreward by Dan Dierdorf

24.95, 192 pages, hard cover

Clinton’s story is indeed the story of a unique man, a man who rose from poverty to become one of the leading business executives in St. Louis. It is the story of a man who never backed away from a fight and never lost his desire to give back something to his community through charitable or civic efforts.

In his memoirs, Clinton reveals the ingredients that form his desire and personality, and he talks extensively about his experiences with celebrities such as Paul Newman, Walter Payton, Jack Buck, and others.

He also discusses in great detail his successful campaign to build a domed stadium in St. Louis, which led to the return of the NFL to the City of St. Louis after a prolonged absence. Clinton also talks about his family, and recalls the tragic day when his son Jeff was killed in a car racing accident and how he deals with that terrible loss.
